Díkaion is now available in Scopus

2021-10-26

Dear members of the Díkaion community,

It is truly our pleasure to inform that Díkaion has been one of the journals recently included in the prestigious Scopus index, according to the “Scopus Title List” published in September 2021.

Scopus is one of the most well-known and recognized science databases in the world. It gathers and organizes information coming from academic journals which have met certain quality-oriented criteria and implemented sound editorial policies, journals whose papers are published after the completion of certain methodologies involving, primarily, reviews by academic peers.

This is a remarkable achievement that will contribute to the steady consolidation of Díkaion in the region as one of the main academic venues in the fields of legal theory and philosophy. After reviewing our request to be included in said index, the Scopus Content Selection and Advisory Board observed that Díkaion publishes “worthwhile discussions of philosophy of law issues and comparative law questions relevant to Spanish speaking Latin America in particular”.

We express our sincere gratitude to the authors who have published their academic pieces on Díkaion throughout the years, as well as to the reviewers whose reports have allowed us to publish high-quality papers. Díkaion publishes manuscripts in English and, hence, we cordially invite you to consider our journal for future publications.
