Díkaion – Changes in the Journal: Single Volume and Changes in the Editorial Team

2022-11-01

Dear All:

The Díkaion editorial team has news for you. First, from 2023, the journal will no longer be biannual but published in a single volume. This means that papers will be published one after another for the relevant year and volume as long as they have completed the editorial process (i.e., layout and copy-editing). Thus, we optimize the submission and publication times and promote the dissemination of updated information in our journal; the greater visibility, the greater the reach and the quicker the inclusion in databases.

The second development concerns our editorial team structure. We want to thank Vicente F. Benítez-R for his outstanding work in the journal. From now on, he will be part of the editorial committee. Vicente, as the former Díkaion co-editor, strengthened and consolidated administrative and academic processes in light of his approach and scope, always with brilliance and dedication. He positioned Díkaion as a national and international benchmark of legal theory and constitutional rights, among others; as a result, Díkaion has been indexed in Scopus. Vicente will continue working for our journal, leading processes from the editorial board.

Moreover, we want to welcome Sergio Morales-Barreto as the journal’s associate editor. Sergio is a lawyer with an LLM in Constitutional Law from Universidad de La Sabana and a lecturer of continuing education, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses. His research focuses on constitutional law, citizen participation mechanisms, the legislative process, and constitutional reforms.

Díkaion is still committed to being a scientific journal of reference for the philosophy of law and legal basis in Spanish-speaking countries under the editorial management of Prof. Carlos Bernal Pulido and Nicolás Mejía-Torres, Scientific Publications Division, Universidad de La Sabana.

Kind regards from the Díkaion editorial team.
