Abstract

This writing was presented by the author with occasion of the publication of his first book, Ciencia jurídica y arte del derecho. Estudio sobre el oficio del jurista. It explores, in first place, some key concepts as part of a critic towards traditional Legal Theory (sources of rights, juridical interpretation, human dignity and practical reasoning), which aims to show the necessity to approach juridical practice from a more realistic point of view. Secondly, the author takes into consideration the reasons that took him to write the book that is object of this presentation.
