Keywords:
Constitutional supremacy, formal supremacy, material supremacy.Abstract
Constitutional supremacy in nature has two aspects that explain its operation. On one side is the formal aspect, without which, lack-much-force and enforceability. Today this area has been undermined because the supremacy of the Constitution in those systems where there are blocks of constitutionalityis shared with other systems, such is the case of international human rights treaties. On the other hand, is the material aspect, substantial or axiological, which expresses the most important protection a constitution: human rights and dignity of the person. Both aspects are vital for proper constitutional task.Downloads
