It is undeniable that the text presented by Professor Cólon Ríos -and translated by Dikaion journal- entitled "The Current State of Comparative Constitutional Law: A democratic critique" is instigating in relation to the problems that are part of the application of the Liberal Constitutional Theory, being the "democratic minimization" one of the most current and interesting. This text seeks to review the proposal of the professor of the University of Victoria in Wellington, emphasizing his conception of liberalism and democracy.
