Compelling work taking us to back times to explain origin of codification and its usefulness. Unification of law from Voltaire to European Union throughout different methods of codification an types of codes to the Codification of Commercial Laws of 1673, labeled "skeleton", the code of 1807 "a falsely new code", and the recently one of September, 2000 called the "obese code". These three codes have proved useful; nonetheless they do not provide a real insight of applicable law.
Author suggests citizens and law professionals to refer to commercial codes published by private editors.
