Legislación laboral referente a la protección de la maternidad en países de Centro y Suramérica (Derecho Comparado)
Abstract
This research deals with the legislation relating to motherhood protection in countries of South and Central America, a topic chosen because of the importance it has in the labor sphere and in addressing the special situation of women, as based on the fact of them being bearers of life. At the first stage, comparative tables were made of the different countries according to a selection made easier by their unity with respect to sharing a same language and being members of the ILO (International Labor Organization). At the second stage, the different legislations are analyzed for the purpose of knowing if it is possible to eventually submit in Colombia a bill regarding the inclusion in labor regulations of judicial institutions that develop other aspects of this privilege or jurisdiction in Central American and South American countries, which could be properly applied in ours.
