Abstract

The Colombian government's prerogative to implement a treaty provisionally, pursuant to existing legislation on the matter in question, is discusses in this study from the standpoint of international and constitutional law. The purpose of this theoretical and practical analysis is to examine the criteria for provisional treaty application, so as to reach several conclusions in that respect.
